The old Stanislaus County Courthouse and Courthouse Park, with the Rogers Fountain in the park. The fountain once stood at the intersection of 10th and I Sts., but, when traffic got heavy, it was moved. It was a tribute to two members of the Rogers family. Dismantled at some point in the 1950s, the fountain is scattered around Modesto. The courthouse was torn down to make way for modern structures in the late 1950s. | ||
